Irrigation Products
for India
Drip irrigation components for sugarcane fields and banana plantations. Build your product list around crop spacing, soil conditions and the water your system can deliver.
Application ideas for project planning
Site-specific decisions.
India’s farms vary in rainfall, soil and water availability. Plan irrigation by field and crop stage, then adjust for effective rainfall and measured soil moisture.

Start with
the planting pattern.
Match dripline placement to your single-row or paired-row layout. Check the soil wetting pattern before deciding how many crop rows each lateral can serve.
- Field operations: coordinate pipe routes with planting, earthing-up and harvesting.
- Zone sizing: calculate combined emitter flow and check pressure losses along the longest runs.
- Buried layouts: use dripline rated for subsurface installation, with site-specific protection and maintenance provisions.
Follow the
developing root zone.
Plan drip outlets around banana spacing, soil wetting patterns and plant development. Confirm the wetted area in the field rather than assigning one emitter layout to every plantation.
- Distribution: choose outlet number, spacing and flow together.
- Rainfall: adjust irrigation after effective rain and check drainage; keep roots moist without prolonged waterlogging.
- Fertigation: match injection to zone flow and the local nutrient plan, with suitable backflow protection.

Size the zone.
Protect the outlets.
For borewell, canal or stored water, check quality and available flow before selecting a filter. Follow the emitter manufacturer’s filtration requirements and allow for cleaning and pressure loss.
Measure flow and pressure with the intended zone running. Where pump operating hours are limited, review zone size and available irrigation time together—not by increasing pressure beyond product ratings.
Confirm actual pipe dimensions, connections and pressure ratings. Fertigation equipment must suit the available pressure differential and target injection rate.
